Ben & Florentine Halifax Hemlock Square

This was the best, most tasty breakfast we had anywhere on our trip. The flavors, textures and presentation were all impressive. Unfortunately it was also the longest we waited to order and then to get our food. It was busy the day we were there but nothing crazy. Our waitress was nice as were all of the servers. It just seemed to take a long time for everything. Even getting a refill on coffee and water was more difficult than it should be. We would definitely recommend this place but just be sure to give yourself plenty of time.

Stopped by for brunch last weekend and the Croque Madame was just as good as I remembered, still my go-to order after all these years. Our server was friendly and kept the coffee coming without us even having to ask, which always makes a weekend morning better. The dining room was busy but not chaotic, nice warm vibe with that classic diner-meets-bistro feel Bedford does so well. Parking behind the building was easier than I expected for a Saturday, so no complaints there either.
